I just went out last week and purchased the 2 DVD sets of all the movies...

Well worth the price...

In fact after viewing them, memories of seeing a couple of these movies with my family came back to mind...

MR. MOTO is really amazing Mix of James Bond / Indiana Jones and a good mystery...

Way ahead of it's time or in hollywood just catching up?

And ironically, he was much less a racial stereotype than he would be today. (Despite being played by a Hungarian.)

OK on Moto, but what about Boston Blackie? The first film in this series (Meet Boston Blackie) was uploaded in early June, then disappeared about about two weeks. The sites then claiming PD status (UK Old time Radio for one) are still so indicating, and they yanked the other Motos over a year ago.
I know that most of the TV (Kent Taylor) series season one episodes are copyright, but I'm quite sure the Chester Morris films are OK
